Synopsis In this fake historical documentary, Yerzhanov plays himself, lost in the Kazakhfilm's corridors, meeting other maverick and essential local directors, as well as the cinema authorities who want him to admit that commercial cinema is the only one viable. A spirited exercise, both a manifesto and a raised finger at the soulless industrialisation of the seventh art.
