The film “Night God” by Adilkhan Yerzhanov, starting from July 18, will be shown in a limited release in Kazakhstan. It will be shown in theaters in the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Taraz and Karaganda.
The film’s genre is drama/fantasy. It tells the story of a tired man, wandering in the maze of a deserted city frozen in eternal winter, where all residents in fear await the appearance of a Night God.
As a reminder, the world premiere of “Night God” was in 2018, in the main competition of the 40th Moscow International Film Festival. Also last year, the film took part in L’Etrange Film Festival in Paris and Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival in Indonesia. In 2019 the film took part in the Bengaluru International Film Festival in India.
